The straps needed a bit of work. So, I took it into the local shop, and they very kindly sent it up to Christchurch and repaired it. It's absolutely bomber now. I've been using it on several trips over the last 12 months and what I really like about it is that it's huge and bombproof and you just feel indestructible when you're wearing it. When I came to New Zealand in the mid-eighties these were the go to packs for serious hikers and climbers.
