On the day when the Buddha reached Nirvana, a memorial service is held in the Sutra Hall, with an exhibition of the Painting of the Buddha Entering Nirvana, which is usually closed to the public. Put your hands together in prayer, while reflecting on the Buddha’s attainments. It is also a rare opportunity to appreciate the painting which is not ordinarily accessible by the public.

仏教の開祖、お釈迦さまの入滅日に、経堂に「大釈迦涅槃図」を掛けて法要をおこないます。お釈迦さまを偲び手を合わせてください。また、通常は公開されていない「大釈迦涅槃図」を間近に見ることができる機会です。
