Almost to the 3 month postpartum mark ;) Motherhood is easier in some ways than I thought it would be (ie sleeping, eating, climbing, existing in my body now vs when I was pregnant - whoever says “it’s easier when they are on the inside” is full of shit) and much harder in others (ie breastfeeding really is no joke jeeeeez). Some days I’m impressed with my body and proud of myself for doing all that I’ve managed to do; other days I feel frustrated, exhausted, and completely incompetent and the tiniest setbacks ruin my mood. Either way it is what it is, we are mostly having a blast and I feel pretty good at managing even the hard stuff, and when I’m not I still wouldn’t trade it for anything. Here’s a little vid of me sending “Pigs in Zen” at Jane’s Wall in Red Rock last week. We got lost on the approach and I had to stop on the edge of a tiny cliff and feed Aaro while AB and Cat found the proper way.
