Screen writer-director Colm Bairéad has made an elegant debut film that will warm hearts for many years to come. Catherine Clinch who plays The Quiet Girl has a spell binding presence on screen. Kate Mc Cullough’s cinematography has a beauty that lingers long after the curtain comes down. I wish all honors for this soon-to-be classic Irish film.
