In the summer of 2019, I had the privilege of joining Michelle and Elladj’s Art of Performance Camp as an assistant. In those few days, I was in awe of the message that these two shared with us about the authenticity of movement and emotions. I took this home with me and dove into this concept as I was building my programs for the upcoming season.

I’ve always wanted to skate to Blues for Klook since Daisuke Takahashi skated to this. He had this incredible ability to portray such cool movements to this music. In my own interpretation, I wanted to put my version of swag and hip into this piece. This is definitely one of my favourite programs to skate to😊
