That’s a wrap on #ChristmasCon 2022!
It was such a joy to make connections with all of you who came, and to be delighted by your creativity!!! And I think what most impressed me is your resilience. The way so many of you have found your way to persevere through loss, accidents, cancer, the burdens we have been asked to carry… Everyone’s desire to rise above that which threatens to pull us down into the depths, in order to find the light again. I was reminded again and again of the ways in which these @hallmarkchannel movies are medicine. The ways in which I can be a part of the healing, even when we haven’t met in person before. It took my breath away. We all want to make an impact in our short time here, and I could see the ways in which you are all doing exactly that — by the way you held your elderly mother’s hand, or were there with a smile on your face to take pictures for your daughter, or the care you put into the hats you made for you and your BFF. You are all out there, making the world a better place, moment by moment, person by person. We must not stop. This is how we heal the world. We choose kindness, we choose to be present and we choose to find the light within the darkness.
