In 2020 the women of Argentina started a “Green Wave” to stand up for their reproductive rights by wearing a piece of green on them at all times. This was a show of resistance and solidarity to their cause and to one another. The movement started with a few women in a living room and grew to millions of women nationwide that managed to overturn the draconian abortion laws in their government had in place at the time. Let’s follow their example and not succumb to feeling helpless because we CAN make a stand and WE CAN make lasting change happen. But we have to be committed. WE HOLD THE POWER!
