We stumbled across this performance by the Iranian singer Simin Ghanem back in 2017 while on the AMA tour. Throughout quarantine and the writing process we found ourselves returning to this song over and over again. Even without being able to understand the lyrics and context we were drawn to the emotion and power she’s able to convey. A truly special tune.
