A sketch of the eleven-faced Kannon for the back piece, and a stencil made by hand. I usually draw sketches in actual size like this. It is basically the same as the process of Japanese painting. I also do freehand if necessary. After this long process, this long journey has finally begun.

背中一面の為の、十一面観音の下絵、手作業によるステンシルの制作工程です。私は通常この様に、実際のサイズで下絵を描きます。ここまでの工程は基本的に日本画と同じです。また必要な場合、フリーハンドで制作する場合もあります。そしてこの長い工程を経てついに、また一つの長い旅が始まりました。
