My pops is one of the most incredible fellas I know. He dedicated his life caring for people, saving loves, and bringing new ones into this world. I have always admired his desire to help others…in fact it was his civil duty to care for others. Our conversations are always insightful, inspiring, and uplifting….and I wanted to start a series capturing these conversations. In this short we shot a few years ago, Johnny talked to me about sacrifice for your purpose, and how does one manage to maintain balance. That was a real challenge for him, but he always made time for us…he was always “6 weeks away from a family vacation”, where he would fully dedicate his time to us, for this I am eternally grateful. But up until then he was filly committed to his civil duty. I find myself having conversations with people where they tell me “you work too much” “you need more balance”, but we are all different and must find our own ways of maintaining balance. When my body and mind needs a break, I allow it, but until then I will keep pushing and keep building. More conversations with pops coming soon I hope!
