Photo by @shonephoto Robbie Shone / I have just returned from Eisriesenwelt ice cave, located near Salzburg, Austria, where I have been working on “End of the Ice Caves” for @ナショナルジオグラフィック magazine. I’m always in awe when I get to visit this spectacular natural wonder. However, I’m also left with a feeling of sadness as these majestic landscapes are melting due to climate change. Pictured here are the formations known as “The Elephant” on the left and “The Castle” on the right. Can you make out the elephant? Hint: the head is on the left. #endoftheicecaves #icecaves
