I first noticed the hummingbird about 2 weeks ago in a tree in my yard. After she flew away, I walked over to it and saw this beautifully constructed nest (that she built all by herself) and two teeny tiny eggs. I’ve been watching in awe, checking it every day (ok multiple times a day) waiting for the chicks to hatch... and yesterday it finally happened! Mother bird will take care of her chicks in the nest for the next few weeks until they are ready to fly out into the world on their own. Such a treat to be able to witness this and watch these little chicks grow! 💛 (umm kinda pissed there is no hummingbird emoji 😆)」3月19日 5時20分
