On this day, exactly 10 years ago, we all faced how powerful and scary nature is and also how vulnerable our society is. With respect to the economy and a system which humans achieved, I hope we can find a way to be able to live in harmony with this planet with a long term perspective especially for our next generation. And that’s also our responsibility for all the victims and their families. With big condolences.

東日本大震災から１０年。あの日、僕たちは改めて自然の力の偉大さと怖さを目の当たりにし、それと同時に自分たちの社会やその仕組みの脆さにも直面しました。

あれから僕たちは前に進めてるだろうか？

これまでの仕組みやその成り立ちに敬意を払いつつ、これから先は長い視野で地球と寄り添っていけるエネルギー開発やそれに伴った新しい消費サイクルの枠組みを作っていく。それが今、生かされている自分たちの務めでもあると強く感じます。
