Particularly, Georgia O’Keeffe, whose wardrobe, replete with head scarf, was deployed as thoughtfully and individually as her paintings. Her collection of scarves drew purposefully striking silhouettes in her husband, photographer Alfred Stieglitz’s widely shared portraits.
