On his 30th Birthday @johnstingray went out on the historic Hong Kong Trail with the hopes of breaking, not only the FKT but also the Greenpower race record of 3 hours and 39 minutes. While he broke the unsupported FKT that day, he came up short of his goal. Two weeks later he came back and ran 20 minutes faster, earning a new FKT and breaking the race route record in 3:26:56, saying at the finish, “Today, I felt like I was flying.” Watch him Take Flight, link in bio.
