Treasure the ties that unite.
Lunar New Year is a time to come together, even if at a distance. To celebrate this joyous occasion, we commissioned Seoul-based illustrator Jiye Kim (@kamidamikim) to create a series of illustrations inspired by decorative knotting, a once practical tool that has evolved into an intricate art form. Knots are closely tied to new year festivities, both in China where the practice originated and throughout Asia, where they can readily be found.
