Prince was deeply affected by the work of Martin Luther King, Jr. and made reference to his life and legacy in several of his songs, including "The Sacrifice of Victor," "Family Name," and "Dreamer."

In May 2015, at a @officialpaisleypark concert called Dance Rally 4 Peace, Prince expressed his solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement in an emotional, 16-minute performance of "Dreamer." Link in bio.
