I am resolved to smile at ppl that most likely hate me bc of the way I look & the ethnicity I was born. I am also resolved to explain systemic racism to ppl I am close to that have no idea what it is like to live in this country a person of color. I am resolved to keep explaining to ppl why I don’t eat meat, even my family members. I am resolved to not ignoring the problems my country has. I am resolved to speak to groups of ppl that no one is speaking to, I am resolved to befriend the very ppl my own friends say are evil. Hate, from any point of view, from any “side” is still hate. It still fills you with toxins and destroys your soul... whether you are “hating” for the “right” reasons or not. Dark cannot push out darkness, Only light can do that.
