The ancient capital still marks the same passage of time after centuries, watching over every apprentice girl become a Geiko, woman of dignity.

I was lucky to catching geiko (young geisha) and maiko (apprentice geisha) to pay courtesy calls to ochaya (literally "teahouse" which refers to places where geisha entertain their guests) in Kyoto two years ago.
It was really beautiful and amazing moment.
