ー 生と死 在と無 ー

相互に同等の価値と重要さをもって存立する。作品の自立性をもってそれらを保証し、形式的なものを克服することを目論んでいる。
つまり死は肉体から非肉体への移行であり、同時に肉体からの解放、まったく別の何かの始まりとして無時間性を表わす。

ー私は生まれた土地の浜辺で貝を拾う。
朝の穏やかな日差しが差し込む、絶えることのないであろう波の狭間から煌めく死骸のカケラを集める。ー

自然との深い関わり、東洋哲学から見出した純粋さと単純素朴さによって、メッセージの不変性を際立たせ、単純であるからして見るとゆうことを強く意識させる。
それは精神的態度、思考と瞑想のフォルム、さらには自己に沈潜するイデアとなる。

ー貝を砕く。
拾い集めた貝は、洗浄、数日間の漂白と消毒を済ませる。カタチや種類を選別し、布に包み、再び数日間の乾燥。
そして破壊する。
叩き、押し潰す工程を繰り返し行う。幾度となくふるいにかけ、一定の大きさの粒の集合体へと姿形を変える。そして埃やチリ、黒や茶の部分を丹念に取り除く。
ガラス瓶に入れ替え、保管する。ー

この１つの集合体は役割を持つ。

In other words, death is a transition from the physical body to the non-physical body, and at the same time, it represents timelessness as the beginning of something completely different, liberation from the physical body.

The deep relationship with nature, the purity and simplicity found in Eastern philosophy emphasize the invariance of the message, and make us strongly aware that it is simple to see.
It is a mental attitude, a form of thought and meditation, and even an idea that sinks into the self.
