Struggling to keep motivated to workout during the colder months? ❄️💪🏼 @naomi_heff is here with her top 5️⃣ tips for exercising in winter?

1. Make sure you layer up with the right gear. There’s nothing worse than not being prepared when it’s cold wet and windy! Something like a breathable and waterproof wind breaker.

2. Protect your extremities! Hands, nose and toes get cold quickly so get yourself a thick pair of socks, gloves and a hat.

3. With the changing weather, skin and lips start to get dry so make sure you have a thicker moisturiser and lip balm for the winter to keep skin hydrated.

4. In hot weather it’s easy to chug down water but make sure you’re still getting your two litres of water a day in the colder months.

5. Do a proper warm up! It’s important to warm up whatever the weather but particularly when it’s cold. Do some dynamic movements to get the blood flowing and warm up for at least 10 minutes before you hit it too hard.
