Our CEO Alexander Lacik joined a different type of meeting today. To mark #WorldChildrensDay - a day for children, by children - Alexander met 16-year-old Belen – a young changemaker from Ecuador who is advocating for indigenous rights and supporting her community. Belen lives in the rural community of Paquiestancia, where most families make a living from agriculture. When the main market closed in Cayambe due to the pandemic, Belen and her youth group stepped up, opening a new marketplace to support women and their families.
