🇯🇵 侍: 岐阜でスペシャルゲスト

初めてイベントに参加したとき、コスプレのイベントじゃなくて伝統的なイベントでした。その時は侍を演じて、甲冑を着た。重かったね！
参加したきっかけは東京以外にもコスプレの文化を伝えることでした。
特別な経験で、外国人なのにみんな優しかった。不思議！
このイベントの写真はマジックのYuriko the Tiger's Shadowに影響を与えた。

My first event as a special guest was not for a cosplay event, but it was more traditional.
They called me to be a samurai! And for the first time I wore a real samurai armor; it was so heavy!
They wanted me so I could bring some of the cosplay culture outside Tokyo.
It was such an amazing experience and I was so happy to meet such nice people that looked up to me even if I’m a foreigner. An unexpected surprise for sure!

In some of these pictures I look like the Magic card “Yuriko the Tiger’s Shadow”.

(As you can clearly see in the credits, the photos were done in a studio in Tokyo, unfortunately I don’t have any good pictures of my event in Gifu ;;)

Il primo evento a cui partecipai (2015) come invitata non fu propriamente a tema cosplay, come si potrebbe pensare, bensì tradizionale. Ecco perché mi invitarono ad interpretare un samurai, e per la prima volta ebbi l'occasione di indossare una vera armatura antica; con un peso notevole!
Venne richiesta la mia presenza per diffondere la cultura cosplay al di fuori di Tokyo.
Fu un'esperienza particolare e mi piacque molto riconoscere negli abitanti locali disponibilità e ammirazione nei miei confronti, anche se sono straniera. Una sorpresa inaspettata!

Curiosità: in alcune di queste foto somiglio tantissimo alla carta “Yuriko the Tiger's Shadow” di Magic.

(Come si vede nei crediti, le foto sono state scattate a Tokyo, e le abbiamo scelte per la qualità visto che dell’evento di Gifu mi sono rimaste solo due foto che si vedono malissimo purtroppo ;;)
