ガゴシアン・ギャラリーさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ガゴシアン・ギャラリーInstagram)「Today is the last chance to visit our three London exhibitions before the galleries temporarily close for the UK lockdown. This evening, our Grosvenor Hill gallery will stay open until 8pm. Stop by to see "Train Yards," an exhibition of paintings by Mary Weatherford. The paintings in this series are abstracted interpretations of the titular site after dark, in which deep purple and black grounds—often punctuated by white neon light tubes—evoke the history and aura of their subject. On view at our Davies Street space is a presentation of new paintings and works on paper by Nathaniel Mary Quinn. In these new portraits, Quinn turns his attention to the subtle social shifts that accompany life in a time of crisis and isolation. Presented at Britannia Street is "Democratic Intuition," Meleko Mokgosi’s first solo exhibition in the United Kingdom and Europe. As the title suggests, this eight-chapter epic confronts some of the contradictions that dwell at the heart of modern democracy.
