“For the Fall Winter 2020 Collection, Creative Director @WesGordon collaborated with artist and photographer @ElizavetaPorodina to create a portfolio of images shot entirely over Zoom, capturing ballet dancers around the world in their homes or studios using light, movement and color.
Principal Ballet Dancer at San Francisco Ballet @SFballet, @倉永美沙 , relishes collaborating with her dance company even if digitally: "We made a 10 minute piece of 'Dying Swan' together remotely—it involved 90 performers and some time but when it came together, it was so powerful. Nothing beats a live performance though. "
Misa is captured here by Elizaveta at her home in San Francisco in multiple layers of bias cut organza, crinoline and tulle bands that are sewn together to create this unforgettable silhouette.
