カンヌ国際映画祭スペシャルイベント
【2020 Special Cannes】で
『朝が来る』が上映されます。

新型コロナウイルスの影響により、今年はカンヌ国際映画祭が開催できず、新たに〔Official Selection 2020〕が設立されました。
そして世界中からカンヌセレクションとして56本が選ばれたわけですが、その中から、『朝が来る』を含む4本が、今回、特別に上映されることになりました。

第2波で夜間外出が禁止されるなど深刻な状況のフランスですが、その中での開催決定は、カンヌ映画祭にとって大きな決断であったと思います。
『朝が来る』は、明日、日本時間夜10時ごろよりカンヌ市民にお披露目されます。

True Mothers will be screened at the Cannes Film Festival’s special event, “2020 Special Cannes”.

The Cannes Film Festival was able to be held this year due to COVID-19, and a new Official Selection 2020 was chosen.
In total, 56 films were chosen from around the world, and from among them, True Mothers was one of four to be specially chosen to be screened!

With the second wave of cases coming and a nighttime curfew during this difficult time in France, I think it must have been a big decision to go ahead with these screening during such a time.

Tomorrow, around 10 p.m. Japan time, True Mothers will be shown to the citizens of Cannes.
