Albert Brooks’ earlier directorial films are satirical gems (despite that I feel like he doesn’t know how to end his films sometimes?) and so ahead of their and his time but I also needed to take breaks in between so I won’t feel like strangling or shoot tranquilizer dart to some of the protagonists in his movies (definitely the one in “Modern Romance”), even though that’s the point of these films.
