It felt more like a strange time warp where everything stopped except my growing belly. In an unprecedented time when the world slowed down to an almost screeching halt and stayed 6 feet away from everyone, we as a whole were forced to follow suite. I missed out on typical normal life pregnancy experiences. Things that in the old world I would have absolutely took for granted. But what I got in return was the precious gift of time. Time to really focus on myself, my health and most importantly our baby. To educate myself on how I can best support her through every week she’s inside me and beyond. I truly feel lucky that I have been able to focus my energy on her and give her the best possible start that I can. This only made possible by the support of the best soon-to-be daddy @dzonshine who’s love and dedication to our family makes me confident there is no hurdle we can’t overcome. Together we were determined to make something incredible out of this bizarre time we are living in so that one day, when we are telling her about her birth story, she will know that growth and expansion can happen even in the darkest of times. . .
