Launching today, "Italics: Art and Landscape" is a new online editorial platform that will highlight the extraordinary cultural and artistic heritage of Italy through the country’s most celebrated gallerists.

Initiated by Galleria Continua’s Lorenzo Fiaschi and Gagosian’s Pepi Marchetti Franchi, the project brings together sixty-three galleries to give readers behind-the-scenes access to contemporary, modern, and ancient art through storytelling and original imagery. In her first contribution, Marchetti Franchi recounts the memorable experience of listening to Gregorian vespers at Sant’Anselmo all’Aventino, Rome, with Theaster Gates.
