Today marks 40 years since the opening my first hat shop in Endell St., Covent Garden. I could never have done this without certain people:

Decorating muscles #wilfrodgers, @michaelcostiff creator of poetic light fittings and his belle #gerlindecostiff who named each hat asymmetrically, the night before the opening. Bestie #leesheldrick drew magical illustratations . @duggiefields and #lucianamartinez composed the fabulous guest list. #fionadealey whose kitchen I commandeered to create my first collection and whose father printed the invitations(for free!), and finally @thekimbowen for chic, humour, loyalty and most importantly friendship.
