Continuing the monthly focus on our ever-growing collection of art and design housed at our global stores, we put the spotlight on artist Alvaro Barrington.
Barrington's multimedia work often combines artisanal elements of textiles, sewing and stitching, where painting, drawing, photography and printing also come into play in creating the artist's vision. Barrington's compositions portray an intimacy through faces, body parts and vegetations, including a signature motif of the hibiscus flower.
'Been around the world -2' is currently housed at CASA LOEWE London.
