Congratulations to this year's #CFDAAwards winners! The biggest change of the 2020 #CFDAAwards might not be the move from a splashy gala to a succinct 10-minute video hosted by @トムフォード, but the designers who received its top prizes.
For the first time in its history, the @CFDA and its voting body of journalists, editors, retailers, and other fashion industry figures awarded three Black designers top prizes in a single year, including @kerbito, who won menswear designer of the year for @PyerMoss (pictured in slide 1).
@gabrielahearst (pictured in slide 2) won the womenswear designer of the year, which represents the first time that a woman has won the womenswear prize since Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen won for @THE ROW in 2015.
