I was in Milan working at Versace in the Via Gesù office when I received a call from a friend telling me that a plane had hit one of the towers. At that moment no one knew the magnitude of the situation ,and there were rumors that it was a small plane. I ran down to @donatella_versace office to ask her to turn on @cnn to see what’s up. The horror when I saw what had happened, and as I watched the city that I love, under siege and there was nothing I could do. I watched as the tower continued to burn and all of the sudden the south tower was hit. I was in shock and disbelief I had no idea what was happening and I screamed and tears ran down my face. What is happening !!!! To this day it brings tears and chills to my body. I will never forget finally flying back to NYC and hoping that this was some sort of dream and then the brutal reality when I saw the skyline vacant of her towers that stood so proudly. The nightmare was true....That day of evil has forever changed our lives, and tested our strength as a human beings.
