We were inspired by the 1976 movie ‘The Man Who Fell to Earth’ starring David Bowie, and we thought about a woman literally falling to Earth, having no references to 'normality', or any idea about how to fit in. We see her as a trailblazer, someone who stands out from the crowd because she is free.”
