Photo by @giles_price. We find ourselves unexpectedly living in an age when body temperature has assumed a new set of implications: we’re all potential carriers and spreaders of Covid-19. As part of a conceptual series of images shot on assignment, I have used a thermal camera to examine what daily life looks like with current restrictions placed on ordinary events and new routines becoming our everyday. Here, people enter and leave what is normally a congested shopping centre, Westfield Stratford City in East London, in June. With spending on non-essential items down 22% compared with last year, many customers continue to stay away from shops while health risks remain from the virus.
