(白黒のセルフィーについて日本語↓) As I continue to scroll through lovely b/w selfies, I also see my leaders' attempt to point out the real origin of this story, violence against Turkish women and subsequent “femicide”. We have seen this before, real messages getting diluted and lost in the social media campaigns. The DM I received mentioned nothing about Turkish women and continue to see selfies with no mention of them.  So I am posting a b/w pic of Turkish women (image: Yasunari Akgul/AFP/ Getty Images). Ever since 45 was elected, we have been talking about intersectionality and we have to apply that to women everywhere. You can learn about the issue by simply googling "Turkey femicide." Love to you! #challengeaccepted
