I have always been a great admirer of his talent and outstanding work. I had the chance to have met with him last summer in Tokyo, and then again in Europe last fall to work on a collaboration between Kenzo and Kansai Yamamoto. It was a huge privilege to work with such a living legend. In his late 70’s, Kansai still had all the amazing energy and creative freedom that were the trademarks of his personality. Hopefully we will make him proud when the collaboration will come out next winter. I will always carry these memories and laughs as one of the most special moments I had in Fashion.
