The inaugural event of the 'Italia 90’ World Soccer Cup was held in Milan at the San Siro stadium on June 8th, 1990. For this great media show #OttavioMissoni and #RositaMissoni purposely create 40 costumes that the journalist #AnnaPiaggi describes as a testimony of those cultures "that the Missonis have in their blood and that have often translated, through Signs, Shapes and above all a great deal of Color, into Fashion". Shown over the years in various exhibitions, AFRICA costumes are now part of the #MissoniHeritage.
