In this video, I want to demonstrate writing with the Montblanc Meisterstück Gold Leaf Calligraphy Flex Nib Fouintain Pen.

When I go out, I usually carry a calligraphy dip pen with a small ink bottle in my bag. Now that I have this pen, I can finally leave them at home. It's definitely more convenient.

This pen is definitely on the heavy side, so it takes some time to adjust to the weight difference from a dip pen, but I love how I can create thin and thick strokes so easily with this flex handcrafted 18K solid gold nib. The nib glides extremely smooth on the paper (like butter!), although sometimes when I press a little harder then usual to get a thicker line, the ink doesn't flow as smoothly. I'm guessing this is either an adjustment I need to make on how I apply the pressure coming from a dip pen holder or it's probably just the limitation of a fountain pen.

The hand applied gold leaf design on this fountain pen is sublime. It's truly a beautiful masterpiece.
