@hypebeastgaming: A rare copy of ‘Super Mario Bros.’ has sold for a whopping $114,000 USD, breaking the record for the single most expensive video game ever sold. According to @heritageauctions, this edition was never taken out of its box and is still in the exact condition it was when it released in the ‘80s. It also commanded such a price due to its rare cardboard hangtab which was made before plastic was used to seal each game, making it one of the very few that exist today. ⁠
