“Vivienne Westwood print goes far beyond what you see. Each has a narrative and a history to it. Most have transcended their original debut to be created again, re used from the archives, or hand drawn by Vivienne herself.
My favourite, the ‘Squiggle’ dates back to the Pirate collection in 1981. It is a print, but an identity too.

I was asked to study ‘Roses’, ‘Bosschaert’s Flowers in a Glass’ and ‘Pinocchio Circles’. It was an education for me, and it was good fun!
As much as I was thinking about creating work that was to be seen, it was about focusing on the quality and depth of the references that go into each collection.”
