A Black #Dominican who migrated to the U.S. at a young age, the Philadelphia-based producer is behind albums from @MissJillScott, @ミュージック・ソウルチャイルド and many others, knows racism's effects firsthand. He has been aware of how deeply rooted racism is in U.S. culture and society, and how it systematically continues to oppress Black communities, as well as all people of color. ⁣
