Jewelie painted this for @refugees UNHCR’s art contest.
Although she is too young to officially participate, she was inspired by the theme and the stories of children in a refugee camp, and painted this.
I wonder how she feels when she sees this world now. Also for all the children in the world, my heart hurts to know that there must be lots of things going on in their minds.
Children’s imagination are our hope and brighten our world just like this painting depicts.
