ARTIST NOTE: in order : ✴️Finished piece 💟Model 💯Final sketch 💮1st gesture rough sketch ⚛️ playing ☢️ playing ⚠️ long shot of the piece This piece is the center of a wall that spans over a 1/4 mile. , I did this the last day of the mural in the last few hours before sunrise. Life is happening to all of us and things change no matter what you want or had in mind , and you have to realize LIFE HAPPENS it all part of the deal.. This portrait is very important to me, because while somethings change and end somethings don’t. I chose my ending . I took the energy I had and did what I have always done my whole life , put it into my work , it fueled this wall ,If you know me or follow me you know who this is, @thecaribbeanyogui STEPHANIE was and is someone I’ll always love, as a artist I love differently I’m wired different because I create with my all , so in all things I do this it the only way I know. I had walked this wall for what equaled 40 days and I kept seeing something here . The last days of the wall I’d given myself and the team a off day we needed to relax we needed to breath .. we went on an amazing hike in SF I took a lot of photos of trees and the light going through them..that night we all had dinner as a team at our home I rented , and I saw what I wanted to do in my minds eye. This is how I work if I can see it I can do it. I didn’t tell anyone I began to sketch and I knew there was no time to do a massive portrait but I knew what “I” can do= anything ,so at 3:00 A.M. as we are packing I don’t say much I head out alone to the center off the wall in the dark and begin to sketch and set up. EVERYONE WAS DEAD.. EVERYONE... I wasn’t because I’m running on different fuel different time..it’s how I operate. So the team meets me. ( THIS IS WHY PEOPLE SAY IM CRAZY) They don’t say much but they help. this was the most important piece of the wall , and I decided to depict human and nature as one. I chose this image even though it was hard for me personally, I left a lot on this wall nearly killed me. It was meant to be.」5月20日 1時07分
