However, health and safety comes first and I completely understand and respect the decision, especially with regards to the current situation of COVID-19. I was looking forward to competing in Montreal since I consider Canada as my home away from home. Furthermore, this year's Worlds was planned to be a big event as it would've been the first time the ISU Skating Awards would've taken place along with a fantastic line up for the opening ceremony as well as exhibition. Nevertheless the decision to keep everyone involved such the athletes, coaches, officials, spectators and fans healthy as well as minimizing the chances of coming in contact with the virus is a wise decision.
