A little early evening collection highlight to get your week started off right. 🌄
Artist Thomas Hill is so firmly associated with views of Yosemite that this painting was long thought to depict a lake in Yosemite, even though no lake of this size exists there. But north of Yosemite at Lake Tahoe, you'll find the distinctive double-peaked hill on the left side of this painting, known as Maggies Peaks, and the waterfall in the distance suggests that this painting shows Emerald Bay.
