WOW WHAT A DECADE! 2009 to 2019 has been the most transformative period of my life so far. At 20, I was at the very beginning of my path to healing. I started making YouTube videos in my childhood bedroom and I had no idea where it would take me. 10 years later, I’m in awe of the journey. Social media became my full-time job, I moved into my first apartment with the cutest blue-eyed Nug, I came out in 2015, interviewed President Obama the following year, cultivated lifelong friendships that have carried me through choppy waters, adopted a snoozy fluffy tater tot, fell in love with a brilliant woman, fulfilled my childhood dream of moving to NYC, and have turned creative visions into a tangible reality. Now, at 30, I’m so proud of my younger self for her courage to take a path few people believed in. There have been tears, countless worries, and moments of overwhelming anxiety as I trudged through the mud of my twenties and faced truths I didn’t want to look at. This has led to unimaginable beauty. I’ve had the honor of growing up with so many of you and for that, my gratitude is endless. You’ve touched my life in ways that helped heal my aching heart. For so long, I always thought I was too broken to live a big, expansive life. Now, I see that all those wounds were just more opportunities to let love in. That love is with me. It’s wild and free. It’s grounding and full of faith. It’s forgiveness and humility. It’s ready to carry me through the next ten years and it feels absolutely infinite. ❤️
