It was a place of so many “firsts” in my life 👉🏼 my 1st exposure to unique brands, 1st luxury shopping experience, met my 1st love ❤️ on the 7th floor of the Barneys Coop on Madison Avenue, came out 1st to myself 🏳️‍🌈 and then admitted for the 1st time to the world 🌍 that I’m gay after that. It was the 1st wholesale account 🛍 of our 1st collection of the Timo Weiland brand in 2009. After launching TW at @barneysny it was the 1st time that I felt the sky was the limit & (coupled with naivety) a 1st burst of confidence since childhood. Connected for the 1st time with other founders & brand builders from across the globe. Met the 1st member of my chosen family @laurenpainter who is still to this day my best friend in the world.
