I have a weekly yoga class on every Wednesday with F-League team, #FugadorSumida and this is a story when I was having a chat with their sales staff, Higo-san and the team’s captain before the class.⚽️.
.
Higo-san used to play rugby and because he is so into rugby, he has spent roughly 200K yen for the rugby World Cup tickets.😁🏉.
.
When we were talking about the ongoing rugby World Cup, because he was mentioning so many foreign players (at least I thought so at that time), I threw him a question if he had any favorite Japanese players, and he answered to me that all the players he mentioned are Japanese.
At instant, I felt ashamed how old-minded I was.
The current team Japan seems international in a way but that too is Japan now.
There are sayings like the blood is Japanese, or the concept of being Japanese, the nationality, where people are born, where people are raised, these things don’t have significant meanings. There were many foreigners visiting Japan to support the team and of course every single player and staff that fought for Japan, I feel so proud of them as #oneteam of Japan.🇯🇵👏.
.
#Nationalities , #genders , #religions , #values, or home environments such as born and raised in favela or upperclass in England, such categorizations we might have made in childhood, I feel these don’t matter a thing through my experiences through the world of yoga and sports.
(I’ve traveled almost 30 countries and have successfully made wonderful connections through yoga in each place🤝🌏).
.
What I want to say is that we are all equal Earthians, and it made me really happy so decided to share it here❣️.
.
The clip from the last post is a scene from the match of Wales and Australia of rugby World Cup. Sports have awesome power of uniting a world to one🌈.
