Souvenirs in Belgium... I had three concerts (1 official, 2 private) last weekend and had a wonderful time with the piano-music lovers everywhere.

1. Singing is fundamental for any music, right?

2. At concert in Gent @Cultuurkapel Sint Vincent

3. With Camille de Rijck after appearing in his radio program at the RTBF

4. With Xavier Flament (the journalist of l'ECHO and the owner of the private concert in Brussels) and his family

5. With friends who came to the private concert in Schiplaken

6. With Akihiro Nakamura (tenor), we had a spontaneous session after my concert, singing Schumann, Schubert and Beethoven ("An die ferne Geliebte", of which I played the transcription of Liszt)

7. With my Belgian mom, Mia.
Her devotion for music, arts, cooking is just...mamma MIA!! 8. When two piano amateurs gather together with a nice Japanese sake. 🍶

9. Pretending to play "Petrouchka" with Stéphane, my French manager 😆

10. Practicing Beethoven in presence of my love, Benoît 💙 .

先週はベルギーで非公開を含めて、3連続公演ありました。ピアノ音楽を愛する人達(+🐶)と、素晴らしい時間を過ごしました。ブリュッセルのホストファザーのグザビエさんはジャーナリスト、スヒプラケンのホストマザーのミアさんは粘土や木材を使ったアートが趣味の専業主婦されてますが、お二人とも素晴らしい音楽への愛情と知識、そして耳をお持ちで、私の練習する『皇帝』を聴きながら、歌でオーケストラパートを伴奏してくださいました！
まさに『蜜蜂と遠雷』に出てくる「生活者の音楽」に触れ、感動すると共に、彼らの期待に応えられるようもっと精進しようと思いました。
